Here are some pictures of my piece for the Starwars Tribute Art Show at Rose City Pizza in Rosemead California. Since I didn’t post any Inktober sketches this past October 2017, I decided to Ink the final piece using a Sukura/Koi Water Brush Pen, and use Higgins Waterproof Black Ink on Canson Watercolor Paper 140lb/300gsm. Final size was 13″x19″. This piece is for sale, asking price is $150. The whole show will stay up till the end of January.

Title/Theme: Now the title for this piece is “Middles Open”, a term used in men’s slowpitch softball.

Progress:

1. I Sketched out each character,
2. Traced each drawing using Tracing Paper (tracing paper that accepts ink and wont bleed) and inked that using Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens,
3. I then scanned all the drawings into Photoshop and cleaned them up and saved them.
4. Created a new 13″x19″ inch document at 300dpi, Import all drawings into the Photoshop, rearranged the artwork, lowered the opacity on all the layers, saved my work. Ready to print.
5. I cut 13″x19″ inch off a large sheet of Canson Watercolor Paper
6. and Printed on it,
7. Inked the whole piece.
